  • 18 staff, including 12 qualified teachers, 4 teachers entering teacher training, Manager, Administrator, Staff & Education Manager, Chef and Support staff – plus our equestrian and swimming instructor.

  • 74 daycare spaces for children from six weeks to school age.

  • Learning programme based on the New Zealand National Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whariki.

  • A 500sqm purpose-built modern barn surrounded by two acres of grass, trees, vegetable gardens and natural play areas, with a planned native forest and food forest.

  • Three rooms, The Seedlings (up to 2’s), The Shoots (2-3 ½) and The Sapling’s (3 ½ - school age), each with a built-in fireplace, heat pumps and air conditioning.

  • Natural play environment and materials with a focus on sustainability.

  • Home-cooked meals, with ingredients home-grown in our gardens and orchards by our staff and children (this is a free service and not built into your fees).

  • Swimming lessons and pony riding lessons available with experienced qualified instructors.

  • Full day or mini sessions (6.5 hours). Half days are not offered.
